Neuro Colorado is a Denver – based neurotherapy clinic and counseling center serving the Front Range since 1997. Located in Denver’s Cherry Creek district, we offer a range of scientifically proven brain-based therapies (neurotherapy, neurofeedback, and psychotherapy) to Engage many clinical and non-clinical issues. Our approach facilitates a way to Restore the health of our clients without drugs or invasive procedures. This is why we offer a well-rounded, holistic approach to mental health including traditional individual, marriage, and family counseling along side our Neurotherapy services. We want to provide our clients the best possible means to engage issues in a manner that restores health so they can Live more fully.

Sean Brock, MA, LPC, BCN (He/him/his)

Psychotherapist and Neurotherapy Practitioner

Sean is the owner of Neuro Colorado. He is passionate about pursuing a full and meaningful life for himself and other around him. He thrives by helping others grow, learn, and heal. Sean believes Neuro Colorado is an excellent environment for this to happen. He has a rich and diverse academic background, with degrees in organizational development, counseling, and theology, and a great love for the outdoors. In addition to his interest in outdoor sports, he also enjoys building things: relationships, community, and a deeper knowledge of the way things work.

Sean is Board Certified and trained in multiple types of Neurofeedback as well as advanced trainings in psychotherapy techniques such as EMDR and Internal Family Systems.

Karen Klismet, MA, LPC, BCN (She/her/hers)

Psychotherapist and Neurotherapy Practitioner

Karen joined Neuro Colorado Spring 2014. A die-hard Broncos fan who is passionate about the outdoors and relationships she looks for the best ways to foster thriving community. She has worked extensively with adult women, military, and law enforcement on trauma issues. Specializing in complex PTSD, developmental trauma, and dissociative disorders. Karen has practiced EMDR since 2008, is Level 1 Trained in Internal Family Systems, has taken extensive training in various Neurotherapies, including Sebern Fisher’s work for the use of neurofeedback for the treatment of developmental trauma and dissociative disorders, and is currently training in Dynamic Attachment Repatterning Experience (DARE), Somatic Experiencing and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.

Specifically, she is passionate about engaging women in the restoration process of overcoming physical, emotional, psychological, sexual and spiritual abuse, as well as women wanting to overcome anxiety, feeling “stuck” in life, by assisting them to resolve the underlying issues that hold them back from thriving. She holds a Masters in Community Counseling with a love for studying neurobiology and using brain based interventions to resolve the issues from the past and overcome present life challenges, so that you can create the life you desire.

Nicole Bradley, MA, LPC, BCN (She/her/hers) 

Psychotherapist and Neurotherapy Practitioner

Nicole Bradley joined the Neuro Colorado team summer of 2020. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and brings an array of creative modalities to the practice. She has a Master's Degree in Expressive Therapies and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. She enjoys working with people from all walks of life in unfiltered ways that encourage them to align their dreams with their reality and to move towards a deepened sense of self-worth and confidence. Her method of therapy infuses creativity and expression into the traditional therapy model. She is also trained in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Neurofeedback. In her work, she aims to support clients in activating new connections to their body, mind, spirit, emotions, and their environment.

In her personal life, Nicole is an animal lover, enjoys seeing new sights, singing and dancing, and craves everything spicy. She will talk cute animals and kids with you till the cows come home!

Nicole celebrates everyone's unique self and warmly welcomes all colors, creeds, orientations, beliefs, and abilities! She is impassioned by the bold and colorful energy of the world and its awe-inspiring inhabitants!

Leah Raulerson, MA, LPC, BCN, RSMT, ACS (She/her/hers)

Psychotherapist and Neurotherapy Practitioner

Leah Raulerson received her Masters in Somatic Counseling Psychology from Naropa University in 2016, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Leah specializes in supporting and empowering adults who have experienced interpersonal trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, depression, and anxiety. Leah is honored by the privilege of supporting and witnessing change and growth in her clients, and sees health as the integration of mind and body, and utilizing intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships to support an increased wholeness through a repertoire of adaptable skills. Leah’s integrative, relational style is informed by mindfulness, expressive arts, social justice work and philosophy. Additionally, Leah incorporates elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Feminist, Humanistic, and Gestalt psychotherapies. Leah has spent several years as an adult counselor and clinical supervisor in Denver-area non-profit agencies.

Leah has two amazing cats, and will always pet your dog (with permission, of course). Leah loves to build things, bake, and travel with her partner, and will eat most things at least once. Leah strives to continuously check her areas of privilege and is always hoping to improve her allyship through intersectional feminism, racial justice, and support for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Carrie Buechner, MA, LPC, BCN, C-PD (She/her/hers)

Psychotherapist and Neurotherapy Practitioner

Carrie is a child, adolescent, and family therapist joining the Neuro Colorado team in the summer of 2021 after practicing therapy in the greater Denver area since 2019. She fully believes that relationship is at the core of all therapeutic work, and focuses on fostering a collaborative relationship with her clients in which they feel heard, seen, and understood. Carrie values the unique stories and identities of her clients, and strives to empathically hold space and welcome all of her clients’ experiences into the therapeutic relationship. Guided by trauma-informed and emotion-focused principles, her style is flexible, dynamic, and playful. Carrie particularly enjoys working with high sensitivity (HSP), eating disorders/ body image, post-traumatic stress disorder/ trauma, attachment concerns and repair, parenting, and navigating relationships and family dynamics.

In her free time, Carrie enjoys singing, skiing, hiking, and petting every dog she meets.
